Julie an I recently had to put down one of our cats. At least Zula had the time with you guys that he did. It sounds like you gave him a wonderful life. Our departed cat, Onyx, is now resting comfortably in our backyard also. It's a tough thing to watch them suffer especially after you've spent so much time getting to know them. It's a sad thing. I've had many cats throughout my 66 years and no matter how long you have them it is never easy losing one.
